Thank you for stopping in to take a peek at my work. I mostly explore my craft on flat surfaces, though I sometimes do some music to go with what I draw. Exploration, isolation, and emergence are key themes in many of my paintings, drawings, and soundscapes. Three projects have been constructed around these concepts so far: the Grey Planet (2001), Vikings and Sea Monsters (2008), and Trudger (current). The Trudger project is a daily 9 x 9.5cm coloured pencil drawing of a figure in a space going somewhere. You can view a new drawing every morning to the right of this text, or go to the blog for a more comprehensive experience. CD's and paintings are for sale. If interested in showing my work in your gallery, coffee shop, or home, do not hesitate to contact me at the email listed below. I am also open to performing the music at the opening. If you just want to drop me a line and let me know your thoughts or feelings about the work you are viewing here, I'll be happy to hear from you as well. Micah Liesenfeld |
